Definitely go for the bunny ears.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you all at blog her, make sure you keep the rest of us in the loop with fun inside stories.
It has to be the Bunny ears. I can't wait to hear you on the radio, it'll be like listening to an old friend. Any chance of channelling my fave girl?
ReplyDeleteHUGE congratulations, and you are really doing so many awesome things. I know it feels good.
I like #2. Very steampunk :D
ReplyDeleteI am partial to any outfit that includes pumpkin guts. Now I'm extra sorry that I'm not going to Blogher this year. I love to dress up!
ReplyDeleteDid I give you my hand-me-downs? I think I had a few of these in my closet. If it were me-I would go with the puffy shirt and tight red leggings in the pumpkin pic-timeless. You will definitely standout at BlogHer10.
ReplyDeleteRed pants and pumpkin guts. Without a doubt.
ReplyDeleteDon't bunnies wear pink?
ReplyDeleteIt's a tough decision. But the floppy ears & Speery topsiders are hard to beat.
ReplyDeleteI think everyone will be wearing red pants and patchwork jackets - so if you really stand out the rabbit ears are your best bet.
ReplyDeleteAs long as you will bring a pumpkin or at least goopy, sticky pumpkin hands, I'd go with look #2. And now I'm stressing about my outfits even more because animal ensembles weren't even in my consideration set.
ReplyDeleteBunny ears, hands down!!
ReplyDeleteBunny ears and boatshoes really epitomize today's writer, I think.
ReplyDeleteHoly mother. If WERN doesn't podcast this, I will cut a bitch. Maybe five bitches.
ReplyDeleteRed is so hot. Go for red pants. Ha!
ReplyDeleteEven without the bunny ears, the jacket is a must! Is Sparklecorn going 80's again?
ReplyDeleteHave a great time at BlogHer 10! Wish I was going!
This might be my favorite post ever. (how many times do I say that? I'm quite fickle when it comes to your blog...) I especially like the tag line...
ReplyDeleteAnd the bunny ears FER SHURE! Those bloggy ladies love a good rabbit.
Definitely the frilly blouse and bright red pants look, so Stepford Wives :-)
ReplyDeleteFantastic that you were chosen a Geeky/Nerdy finalist. I love it! My mom always told me that being a nerd would come in handy some day. Can't wait to listen to the radio show. Food and blogging? Yes, please.
ReplyDeleteI like the haute couture look. Though haute couture AND a Voices of the Year award might make everyone think you're all uppity.
ReplyDelete(This is timely, by the way, in that I am heading to BlogHer for the first time this year and just starting to freak out about what to wear. I do appreciate your above suggestions.)
What? You can't rock all of that at the same time?
ReplyDeleteYou're not even trying anymore Ann...
Congrats to all presenters and finalists, good on ya:)
Peace ~ Rene
Wait, we're not wearing togas this year?
ReplyDeleteDAMMIT.
(Can't wait to see you!!)
XO
A.
P.S. And congrats on being a finalist. I heart nerds.
I think look three will set you apart from the crowd. In a good way, of course.
ReplyDeleteI like the pumpkin defiling get up. And ooooh! look at those bikes behind you. I spy Ape Hanger handles!
ReplyDeleteI think the top one, but with something orange in your hair. Maybe a big hat?
ReplyDeleteCheers!
Casey
I'm thinking #2. I have heard ruffles and skinny jean are very "in right now." How cuttin edge you were/are!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I didn't proof that comment before hitting post.
ReplyDeleteWhy has no one selected look #1? I sported a similar calico-jean vomit explosion back in the day and, as you know, it really makes you stand out.
ReplyDeleteGood luck at BlogHer! Wish I were could be there instead of discovering what makes the two's so terrible.
With 3#, you could have won that Energizer contest!
ReplyDeletePumpkin Slime goes with everything. That's my vote.
ReplyDeleteAnd who--hoo on your recognition.
jj
I am always partial to ruffles.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your NPR gig. You are perfect for them.
Love the haute couture, you could really work that look today!
ReplyDeleteGreat and good luck with Blogher, you are in such fine and dandy company, Ann - Many congratulations to you and long may it continue x
Congrats! How exciting. Can't wait to hear how Blog Her goes - many pics, please!
ReplyDeletelaura
I think a lovely combo of the ears and pumpkin guts will TOTALLY rock the house.
ReplyDeleteand I am so happy for you- and it couldn't happen to a NICER !@)#*&.
The first one is by far my favorite.
ReplyDeleteWas very happy to see your name there under "Geeky". Yes, geeky, but adorably so.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'd go multi-colored top. But only if you keep your arms in that position throughout the conference.
